Glycerine, also known as glycerin, with the chemical formula C3H8O3, is colorless, odorless, sweet, and looks clear and viscous. It is an organic substance that can absorb moisture from the air, hydrogen sulfide, hydrogen cyanide, Insoluble in benzene, carbon disulfide and oils, it is the skeleton component of triglyceride molecules.

It is applicable to the analysis of aqueous solutions, solvents, gas meters and hydraulic shock absorbers, softeners, nutrients for antibiotic fermentation, desiccants, lubricants, pharmaceutical industry,cosmetics preparation, organic synthesis,plasticizers. It can be dissolved in any proportion with water. Low concentration glycerol solution can be used as lubricating oilto moisturize the skin.
